PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM CHECK LIST

Engine oil - drain oil, inspect for metallic material & refill.

Engine oil filter- remove & replace.

Primary fuel filter - remove & replace.

Secondary fuel filter - remove & replace.
-
Air filter - inspect filter: notify customer if replacement is necessary.

Air compressor filter - remove & replace.
-
Cooling system - check coolant level & protection level. Check for visible leaks.
-
Coolant filter - remove & replace.
-
Power steering - check fluid level & top off as necessary.
-
Transmission fluid - check fluid level & condition. Notify customer if full service is necessary.

Transmission filter - replace spin on filter with new.
-
Hub oil - check front hub oil & condition.
-
Clutch - check clutch adjustment & condition. Notify customer if service is required.

Drive axle(s) - check fluid condition & level. Clean breather. Change drive axle filter where applicable.

Suspension - inspect springs, hangers, pins, bushings, shackles, shock & U bolts for wear or damage.

Steering - inspect steering box mounting for cracks, loose bolts or signs of leakage. Check king pins, wheel bearings & steering linkages for signs of wear or looseness.

Chassis lubrication - grease all fittings on chassis, i.e. spring pins, king pins, U joints, slip yokes, slack adjusters, S-camshafts, etc.

Undercarriage inspection - inspect under apparatus for loose bolts, chafed wires/hoses, etc.

Brakes - Inspect brake linings for wear & contamination. Inspect hoses for damage. Adjust brakes to specification.

Air system - check for proper air system operation. Drain condensation from air tanks. Check for leaks.

Batteries - clean tops of batteries & battery terminals/ends. Spray connections with protective barrier. Check starter & ground connections.

Electrical/lighting - check all vehicle lights, including emergency lights. Check operation of all horns & sirens. Check alternator mounting & belts.

Onboard charger - check operation of on-board battery charger (shoreline).

Auto Eject - check operation of air and/or electric auto-eject.

Tires - inspect tires for wear or damage. Check tire pressures. Check lug nuts/rims for cracks or looseness.

Wipers - check operation and effectiveness of wipers & washer sprayer.
-
Cab glass - inspect all cab glass for damage. Check operation of window cranks, switches & regulators.
-
Cab/body - inspect paint and body for damage. Check mounts for looseness or damage. Lubricate all hinges, latches & moving parts.

Emergency engine shutdown - with engine in off position, test operation of emergency shutdown feature.
ALL FLUID AND FILTERS COSTS ADDITIONAL AND WILL BE REFLECTIVE OF ENGINE MAKE AND MODEL.
ALL PROBLEMS FOUND WILL BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING.
ENVIRONMENTAL HANDLING CHARGE IS INCLUDED FOR ALL WASTE MATERIAL.
